Settings
RenkoGurus-SmartChannel provides comprehensive customization options to tailor the indicator based on trading style, market conditions, and personal preferences. This guide explains each setting in detail, including input parameters, display options, and style configurations to help users optimize their trading experience.

1️⃣ Inputs Tab: Core Configurations
The Inputs tab allows traders to adjust the calculation parameters, signal visibility, and trend tracking settings.
📌 SAMURAI (Core Prediction & Rank Settings)
These settings define the predictive model and rank-based reversal system used for signal generation.
Period (Default: 200) – Controls the calculation window for predicting market movements.
Prediction in ATR or Percent (Default: ATR) – Defines whether prediction is based on ATR (volatility) or a fixed percentage.
Added Amount of Prediction (Default: 1) – Additional buffer applied to the prediction model.
Rank (Default: 2) – The sensitivity of the Rank-Based Reversal System (higher values may reduce false signals).
Show Rank Long Reversal Signal – Enables/Disables Rank-based long reversal signals.
Show Rank Short Reversal Signal – Enables/Disables Rank-based short reversal signals.
Show Rank Buy and Sell Signals – Enables/Disables Buy & Sell markers based on rank conditions.
✅ Best Practice: Adjust Period and Rank settings based on market conditions—higher values filter out noise, while lower values increase signal sensitivity.
📌 AICLOUD (Momentum & Volatility Filters)
The AICloud system provides real-time momentum filtering and volatility-based price action insights.
Noise Filtering (Default: 3) – Adjusts the level of noise suppression (higher values reduce signal sensitivity).
Length (Default: 5) – Defines the calculation period for AICloud trend tracking.
Source (Default: Close) – The price source used for calculations (Close, Open, High, Low).
Outer Cloud Threshold (Default: 0.2) – Controls the width of the AICloud, impacting reversal detection.
Inner Cloud Threshold (Default: 0.2) – Determines how tight the cloud follows price action.
✅ Best Practice: Use lower noise filtering for scalping and higher values for trend confirmation on longer timeframes.
📌 DISPLAY SETTINGS
These options toggle visibility for key features within the indicator.
Display Cloud? (Default: Enabled) – Toggles the AICloud visualization, which helps identify trend zones and reversals.
✅ Best Practice: Enable the Cloud for trend trading, but disable it if focusing purely on reversal signals.
📌 CLOUD WIDTH (Custom Cloud Sizing)
These settings control the visual size of the cloud, allowing customization based on chart scaling preferences.
Length (Default: 9) – Defines the width of the AICloud visualization.
✅ Best Practice: Increase the length for higher timeframe trends and reduce it for scalping setups.
📌 BARRIER (Support & Resistance Boundaries)
These settings define the range barrier used for price action tracking.
Barrier Length (Default: 13) – Controls the size of the dynamic range barrier.
✅ Best Practice: Adjust based on volatility—higher values provide wider support/resistance zones, while lower values focus on short-term pivots.
📌 ULTRA TREND MA (High-Level Trend Filter)
The UltraTrend Cloud acts as a macro-level trend guide, helping traders focus on long trades in uptrends and short trades in downtrends.
Source (Default: Close) – The price input used for UltraTrend calculations.
Moving Average Type (Default: EMA) – The trend calculation method (EMA, SMA, WMA, etc.).
Moving Average Length (Default: 200) – Defines the UltraTrend Cloud smoothing factor.
Display Ultra Cloud? (Default: Enabled) – Toggles visibility of the UltraTrend Cloud.
ColorU (Default: Green) – The color of the bullish UltraTrend Cloud.
ColorD (Default: Red) – The color of the bearish UltraTrend Cloud.
✅ Best Practice: Enable UltraTrend Cloud to filter trades in the direction of the main trend. For mean reversion trading, consider disabling it.
2️⃣ Style Tab: Customizing Appearance
The Style tab allows users to fine-tune the visual representation of the indicator, including colors, borders, and levels.

📌 Bar Colors
These settings allow customization of Renko bar colors for better visual clarity.
Color 0 - 4 – Define different bar colors based on price action and trend conditions.
✅ Best Practice: Use distinct colors for bullish and bearish bars to make price direction instantly recognizable.
📌 Support & Resistance Borders
High Border (Default: Red) – Marks the upper boundary of price action.
Low Border (Default: Green) – Marks the lower boundary of price action.
Highest Fib / Lowest Fib / Center Fibs – Fibonacci-based support and resistance levels.
✅ Best Practice: Enable these borders to easily spot key support/resistance areas where price might reverse.
📌 Channel Breakout & Breakdown
Channel Breakout (Default: Green, Below Bar) – Indicates a bullish breakout above resistance.
Channel Breakdown (Default: Red, Above Bar) – Indicates a bearish breakdown below support.
✅ Best Practice: Use Channel Breakout/Breakdown signals to confirm trend continuation trades.
📌 AICLOUD Rank & Trend Settings
AICLOUD Rank (Customizable Colors) – Adjusts the color coding for AICloud trend direction.
Smoothing SMA (Default: Gray) – The moving average smoothing line.
Trend Tracker (Default: Purple) – Highlights overall trend momentum.
Trend Reference (Default: Orange) – Reference point for trend alignment.
✅ Best Practice: Enable AICloud Rank colors for an instant view of trend strength.
📌 HA Candle (Heikin-Ashi Overlay)
Enables/Disables the Heikin-Ashi candle representation for smoother trend visualization.
✅ Best Practice: Enable this for trend-following strategies to reduce noise and false reversals.
3️⃣ Visibility Tab: Enabling Signals Based on Timeframes
The Visibility tab allows users to enable or disable the indicator’s elements based on different timeframes.
✅ Best Practice:
Enable UltraTrend Cloud for higher timeframes to track major trends.
Show Rank & Cloud Reversals on lower timeframes for scalping setups.
