Trading Hours Settings (GMT) Panel

The Trading Hours Settings panel allows you to define when the bot is allowed to execute trades, using the Coordinated Universal Time (GMT) standard for consistency across regions and platforms.

This ensures you can restrict trading to specific time ranges — avoiding trades during news events, market close, or other off-limit hours.

🔧 How It Works

  • ✅ When trading is allowed, webhook signals or automated strategies will be executed.

  • ❌ When trading is restricted, any signals received will be ignored until the window opens.

🕒 Setting Up Time Restrictions

Time must be entered in GMT format.

Field
Description

Trading Start Time

Enter the hour and minute (GMT) when trading should begin.

Trading End Time

Enter the hour and minute (GMT) when trading should stop.

Restrict Trading Hours (checkbox)

Must be selected to activate the restriction.

✅ Steps to Restrict Trading:

  1. Tick the “Restrict Trading Hours” checkbox. ❗This is mandatory.

  2. Set the desired start and end time using the dropdowns.

  3. Click “Save Trading Hours” to apply the configuration.

🟢 The bot will now only allow trades during the specified window.

📌 Important Reminders

⚠️ This setting resets when the bot is restarted. Each time you restart the VPS bot, you must:

  • Re-enter your desired trading time window (if needed)

  • Re-check the "Restrict Trading Hours" checkbox

  • Click Save Trading Hours

Failing to do this will cause the bot to run with default open hours (24/7).

📊 Current Status Panel

Below the settings form, the bot will display:

  • “Trading is currently ALLOWED.” (if current time is within the configured window)

  • “Trading is currently DISALLOWED.” (if outside the allowed range)

It also shows the current GMT time, so you can verify your setup before saving.
